Error: Medium neither supports your Windows nor your Office

UpdateGenerator.ini will be saved in the main folder (where the .exe is stored).

Another question: Where do you start wsusou from? Where did you save it? Maybe your user does not have the rights to write to that directory.

I start wsusou from the desktop? Well I was gonna run the updategenerator and it told me a newer version was available if I wanted to err.... I don't remember what did it say, like if I wanted the newer version, I said yes, but other windows kept popping and it mentioned an error, so I freaked out, cause last thing I want is yet another faulty super long download, so I stopped it, to be able to download the newer version and run it from there. The thing is that after I ran that .exe it created the updategenerator.ini. I'm not sure if it's useful now cause I stopped it, to be able to download the newest version. Either way, here it goes:

After I'm done running the latest version, I'll post what that .ini says then.

Looks better. Now you are on 10.7.2 please start it again and let the cmd-window run until it reports, that it finished.
Remember never to run multiple instances of wsusou at the same time.

I'm afraid something went wrong cause I don't see the that file .ini there after I was done downloading the updates :/ I'll try to install them anyway!
I tried to copy+paste the log file after the download of all the updates but it's too big, it's got too many characters (it says the limit is 60000)

Well that was fast lol I tried them again and failed. Here's part of what the log shows:
Code: Select all
08/08/2016 19:00:16,60 - Info: Found Windows Defender definitions version 1.225.1250.0
08/08/2016 19:00:16,61 - Info: Found Microsoft Office 2010 Word version 14.0.7170.5000 (o2k10 x86 esn sp2)
08/08/2016 19:00:16,62 - Info: Medium does not support Microsoft Windows (w61 x64 enu)
08/08/2016 19:00:16,63 - Info: Medium does not support Microsoft Office (ofc glb)
08/08/2016 19:00:16,69 - Error: Medium neither supports your Windows nor your Office version
08/08/2016 19:00:16,75 - Info: Ending WSUS Offline Update

I dunno if I should post it all? I might have made a mistake though, so I'm kinda hoping this is what caused this last failed attempt. Right after I finished downloading them, I wanted to run the updateinstaller so distracted I opened wsusoffline again. So I'll try to do it again and see if not opening it throws the same result. I'm clueless! I dunno what's going on but I suspect that wtv it is that it's stopping the Windows update from running normally on my laptop could be also causing wsus to not work. Here's for the 4th time! Wish me luck

I start wsusou from the desktop?
Could it be you're trying to run it from inside the ZIP archive (aka "Compressed folder" in Windows - the one with the zipper)? All files of WSUSOU need to be extracted to a true directory, running from the archive will never work!
Microsoft update catalog: http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/
Windows Install media download: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/15088/windows-create-installation-media

Thank you all so much for this program whomever came up with it, you need to be rewarded for it! I can't even explain how many MS links and supposed fixes I tried before coming to the wsusoffline.
I let it installing all night long. It seemed to be stuck for over 30 mins but it was so late I had to leave. This morning it said I needed to reboot it. Needless to say I was ecstatic to see the windows update asking me to do anything after almost a month (since July 12th). I had to leave so I only turned it off. When I was back it installed all the missing updates and it didn't prompt anything. I opened the windows update and it said it had downloaded some updates but it showed that it had never searched for updates before (I had cleared its cache a couple of weeks ago hoping to make it work). I made it search for updates and to my surprise, that also worked! You guys are geniuses I wish there were more links to this website cause you'd help lotta people, I feel for them. Thanks a million!
