right. This is exactly what this feed represents! And downloading would be easier if versions were linked within news :)

As you may know this can be hard to monitor sites for now by looking through. Especially if there are many ones.

With feed reader and the right feed, it's possible to know the moment a site updated, to monitor the site without hassle, and give no redundant attention to the site if there are no updates. Again, this is very important if monitoring list consists of more than several dozens of items and is required if there are hundreds of ones.

I can't see the advantage of this feed because i don't use RSS feed and also i can see the actual version directly on wsusoffline.net.

Also the design of the homepage and the forum is not, hm, "very good", but it works and has all it needs.

You don't need it because you don't know what is it? Funny ;)

Anyway, I didn't (and don't) demand anything. Just implicitly asked about link to download files of the version below each news item in downloads :)

It's only advantage is that it's exist. And it's free.

[Dis]Advantage can be measured only by comparison. What do you compare it to?

Have you ever read what I wrote?
Your feed has the same content like http://download.wsusoffline.net
It's ok for me if you are happy about the feed - i don't need it as i can't see an advantage.

It's not just same content like http://download.wsusoffline.net, it's done by filtering from http://download.wsusoffline.net, and as soon the site will be updated, feed will do.

But comparing web page with rss feed is like comparing nntp protocol with imap. They just have different purposes!

Simply put, in Opera (and most other feed readers) you can not add download.wsusoffline.net, you must add feed address! Fortunately, recently Google Reader allowed to add just pages, but such auto-feed may not work as expected.

Hi and welcome, LogicDaemon,

First of all: Thanks for your idea and the RSS feed.
I know RSS is a standard, and an "offical" feed could be useful for many users.
I've just had no time to work with this yet, and I wonder if I should "back link" to a third-party site - I'll think about.

Thanks & regards
