[solved] missing update 2 version of wsusou

Hi,
In the past, i get update whith the v106 for Windows 7 32b.

To update wsusou client, with new MS update, we need to redownload all update or just restart wsusou and its donwload the lastest MS update?

I make the second choice for the v106 in a folder and i start in the begin for the last version of wsusou 108.1 in an other folder.

I have more MSupdate in the v106 folder than the v108.1,(more 30, see the attachment).

WSUS Offline should be run after each Patch Tuesday (every second Tuesday in a month) to download any new updates and delete old superseded ones. I don't know what you want to say with these update lists; the second one contains only scan prerequisite updates (for Win7), but the first one contains more than that. Both of them don't contain all updates downloaded by WSUS Offline.

i run the wsusouv106 in the past (maybe more 6 month), and yesterday to update the client.
Yesterday i run the last version of wsusouv (108.1).

When i compare the client's glb folder, they are not the same:


Update in the client's glb v106 (v106 folder lits) are not present in the client's glb v108.1.
All other update is present on both folder

In Theorie, at the end, both client's glb folder must be identical.

You see what i mean? (my enlgish is poor )

Many updates were excluded because they are part of the mandatory July 2016 rollup. This rollup was not part of WOU 10.6

To update WSUS Offline itself, you can extract the new version over the old/existing one, overwriting existing files. But you can also extract it to a new directory like you did. There are also other methods described in the FAQ (in wsusoffline\doc directory) and the forums.

Yeah, well, that's to be expected. Like I said: Run the download part of WSUS Offline (UpdateGenerator) regularly to get new updates and to delete superseded/replaced/outdated ones. If you run UpdateGenerator of WSUS Offline 10.6 today, you'll get the same updates as in 10.8, though there might be a few that exist only in one of the repositories (mainly .NET stuff).
