Total Newbie Here - Do I just Install the Downloaded Files

Hello everyone,

I have windows 7 64 bit, a fresh install from a technician who said it would update automatically.

It didn't, and now my computer is having lots of problems like the CPU is at 50 percent and almost all my RAM is being used.

I did a search on the web and found wsus....it seems like an incredible utility.

I operated it yesterday and it downloaded A LOT of stuff !! but nothing changed on my computer.

Do I have to manually install every file that is contained in the glb folder??

One of these files is named Service Pack 1, I have Service Pack 1 on my machine already, should I install it again?

Thanks for any help, this seems like an incredible tool if it actually works!

Just use .\client\UpdateInstaller.exe. It will do that job for you. Before starting UpdateInstaller please set Windows Update to "Never search for updates" and reboot.
