Windows 7 x64 HP pavilion g6. Every time I try to run the generator, the 'newer version available' dialog comes up, even though I have version 10.7.4; this also happened with the previous version.
It does not even matter which button I press; Yes, Cancel. It takes me to the website and does nothing!
However this did not happen on my desktop computer. I even tried disabling Windows Update as well.

Please check the content of .\static\DownloadLink-this.txt and .\static\DownloadLink-recent.txt. Are they equal?

Sorry for the late reply. There is no ".\static\DownloadLink-this.txt" .
The 'Recent' Txxt file says "http://download.wsusoffline.net/wsusoffline1074.zip"
".

Please manually download wsusou again (http://download.wsusoffline.net) and unpack it overwriting your existing copy. Then rerun UpdateGenerator. Does this fix your problem?

Thanks for your help, I tried that but had the same problem. I re-ran on my desktop and used it and all went well, also on another pc via USB medium.

My conclusion to this matter is that the issue lies with the laptop 'Windows Update'. Looking at the list of installed updates over the last 2 months, all the updates failed!
It appears virus and malware free, so I need to sort out these issues with Windows.

Sorry to have wasted your time. Your product behaves as it should on a good functioning computer.

Best regards
