Can't install KB2729094-v2-x64.msu

I have Win7 installed on a new computer, fresh off the disk. The update installer got stuck, and after looking for solutions, I found this tool.

Everything seemed to be going well until I hit "Installing ..\w61-x64\glb\Windows6.1-KB2729094-v2-x64.msu". When the command window comes to this file, it never seems to move past it. I also tried manually installing it (from what I've heard, that's just going into the glb folder and double-clicking the specific file), but then it gets stuck on "Searching for updates on this computer...".

Any idea as to what might be causing this?

Sounds like Windows Update is still running in the background thus preventing the Update installation. Please disable Windows update (set to "never search for Updates"), reboot and run our program again, installs should work now. You'll need to reboot several times and re-run the installer until it claims it has no more work to do. Re-enable Windowsupdate afterwards.

That fixed it, thanks! I thought I had ended the program in the task manager already, but I guess disabling updates is what I needed to do instead.
