Hallo,
ich habe gestern von 10.6.2 auf die Version 10.7.3 upgegraded.
Der Download für w61-x64 hängt immer beim rootsupd.exe
Wie kann ich diesen Fehler beheben?

Lösch doch bitte mal die Datei ".\client\md\hashes-win-glb.txt" und entferne einen eventuell vorhandenen Downloadlink zu rootsupd.exe aus ".\static\custom\StaticDownloadLinks-win-x86-glb.txt" (der Support für Root Certificates' update wurde ab WSUSOU v9.8 entfernt, siehe .\doc\history.txt). Dann starte den UpdateGenerator noch einmal.

Danke harry.
Nach dem Löschen der Datei ".\client\md\hashes-win-glb.txt" haben die Downloads funktioniert.

Allerdings ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Datei ".\client\wsus\wsusscn2.cab" mit 173MB insgesamt 9 mal heruntergeladen und dann gleich wieder gelöscht wurde.

Kann man da noch was verbessern?

Leider nein. Die Server von MS liefern momentan teils beschädigte Dateien aus, wodurch die Installation dann fehlschlägt. Daher wurde dies als Schutz implementeiert. Prinzip: besser auf Stand des letzten Patchdays, als gar keine Updates.
