After Vista 32 WSUS WU Still not checking for updates

Hi

I have factory restored a Packard Bell desktop to Vista x32 and ran WSUS with SP1 & 2, MSE and around 170 updates.

Checking for updates after for many hours with the usual 50% svchost. I have already tried recreating softwaredistribution and catroot2.

WSUS has worked for me before on other machines but this one won't check for updates. Any advice ?

My client folder was a couple of weeks out of date and missing Windows6.0-KB3161664-x86 which did the trick.
