Where does WSUSOffline save the downloaded updates?

Where does WSUSOffline save the downloaded updates?

Postby gabagool » 23.05.2016, 18:22

C:\WSUS offline\wsusoffline\ contains Bin, client, cmd, doc, exclude, iso etc.

My question is where does wsusoffline save the downloaded updates? Also, in which format are they? I'm in a situation where i can only apply very specific patches. As of right now I don't see a way that I can sift through the patches using WSUS Offline... so instead what I want to do is use a tool that I found that lets me get a visual representation of the updates and then downloads them into a separate sub directory... then take those updates and copy them to wherever WSUSOffline saves its updates to... then I want to use WSUSoffline to create an iso.

Any insight would be helpful

thanks

location: .\client\<platform> ( viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3848)
format: Windows Vista updates and newer: as .cab- & .msu-updates; .NET: .exe-files (except for integrated versions; e.g. 4.6(.1) on w100); Office: packed .msp-files (except for service packs, they are saved as standalone installers)

The problem is, that MS sets the file names and sometimes (Office) it is nearly impossible to determine the KB-number they are related to.
