Guten tag, I've got a few problems that maybe y'all can help me with.

I've tried the following file configurations, and finally this one 'works':

Location of WSUSOU-Update.exe:
C:\wsusoffline\

Location of wsusoffline folder:
C:\wsusoffline\wsusoffline

Config:
WSUSOU="C:\wsusoffline\"

Updater placed .txt file in:


ErrorLog:
Config.txt: STARTOU is "UpdateGenerator.exe"
Error: "UpdateGenerator.exe" not found


I'm also getting a "permission denied" from ivan's server:

Sometimes, some of the \trunk\ files download, but usually it doesn't download any. And if it does download some, it still hits an error ("can't find UpdateGenerator.exe!"), so they all get deleted.

I tried using HTTrack to download the trunk files, but that too hits some error.

So, what do?

Thanks, Gerby, for cleaning up my post.


I found a solution, and it's embarrassing. ESET was blocking WSUS, so disabling the firewall fixed the problem. It took me awhile to realize this because ESET (on interactive mode) has always asked me to block/allow any connection for any program. And, I explicitly set a rule for ESET to accept any connection from or to WSUS. For some reason, ESET didn't care and kept blocking.


Hope this helps anyone else having this problem!
