XP still an option?

XP still an option?

Postby fpefpe » 14.04.2016, 18:55

Hello -- I see that on latest version of the code, there is no option for XP -- So I downloaded v 9.2.1 and XP was there -- but when I ran it I got a popup to update the code and then there were issue with the certificates -- I let them update, but it failed to download anything --

So is XP (still) possible?

thanks

1) Replace .\static\StaticDownloadLinks-sysinternals.txt with this one: http://trac.wsusoffline.net/browser/tru ... format=txt

2) add
Code: Select all
checkouversion=Disabled
to the "[Miscellaneous]"-section of UpdateGenerator.ini

3) try it again & check the log (.\log\download.log) for errors or warnings

Hello --

Thanks for the info --

CODE: SELECT ALL

I don't think is valid INI file syntax -- does this text also go in the INI file?

Thanks

No, just the "checkouversion=Disabled".
