wsusou already skipped that update. As the command prompt windows says, it currently dynamically lists the missing updates.

MS servers and their tools are currently very slow, so this can take some minutes or even hours. Eventually it'll continue.

Wait a moment... this is supposed to be Wsus OFFLINE update, isn't it??
How is the slowness of the MS servers a factor in this?

I understand that the wsuscn2.cab file is getting larger and larger and that this slows down the process, but there must be more going on. When running wsusoffline on a freshly installed Windows 7 SP1 system, it now takes well over one hour to get through the first time determination of the patch list, and on later re-updates when new fixes have appeared it takes half an hour.

That seems a bit much just to determine what patches are required.
(the actual installation of the 138 or so patches takes an hour as well, but of course the MS installer is to be blamed for that)

Is there no other explanation of the long time this "Listing ids of missing updates" takes?

Any explanation would have to come from MS. WSUSOU still needs to rely on WUA and other components of Windows Update. The process of determining required updates is done by WUA, we do not know what takes that long in there (and eats CPU like no tomorrow!).

It all started with Win10 and the GWX crap. Before, everything was fine (well, most of the time).

Hi, guys...

I have this problem too, but my PC hanged in more than 18 hours in this step before I restart...

Someone knows if there is some way to "force" install all without this step?

I have a notebook with fresh Windows 7, and I need install all updates before goes to Windows 10...

Thanks in advanced,

Best Regards... 8-)

Currently not. You could create a list of all updates wsusou normally installs for each OS and then use a static definition, but that's a lot of work.

Thanks.

I believe that I have to try the static definition option, so...
