Moving online installation...

Hi everyone,

I'm quite new to wsusoffline and i need some advice :

I'm working in a place where the dsl bandwidth is really bad. We need to update many a computer pretty often, and this is a big problem for us. The solution, so far, was to use a 4G router, but it costs a lot as we need to change the 4g card very often. This is where wsusoffline comes in... I have a VERY good bandwidth at home, so i'm currently downloading wsusoffline, there. But i'd like to know if it's possible to move this first download from my home to my work, and only have to download the latest update from my work (which should be much more possible than downloading everything each time).

To sum up, i don't want to make iso at home and use them at work, i want to prepare the repository at home, move it to work and update small amount of data at work with wsusoffline... is it possible, and if yes, is there a specific procedure, or should i juste move a wsusoffline directory ?

Thanks in advance for your infos ;)
Regards
S

Simply move/copy the complete wsusoffline directory. Just take care that your way of copying/moving does not change any file timestamps.
Microsoft update catalog: http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/
Windows Install media download: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/15088/windows-create-installation-media
