Exit on error

On two systems today, Win7 and Win8.1, I encountered a new problem. Both hit errors and then stopped running, saying that the "exit on error" flag had been set.

If this a mandatory, or advisable, setting, or can/should it be switched off? I don't see why the whole process should end because of one error.

i am running wsusoffline on a Windows 8.1 Pro (32-Bit) system.
After updating to wsusoffline version 9.5.1 yesterday i encountered the exact same error.

So today i restored version 9.5 and everything ran ok again.
Might be there is a glitch somewhere inside version 9.5.1?!

btw: Windows Script Host was never touched.

I never touched WSH. I'm also on WSUSo 9.5.1.640.

Is there any error displayed in the cmd window?
Microsoft servers had occasional problems over the last days with some static links not working.
