wsus don't work on win 8.1

hey,

Like the title says "wsus don't work on win 8.1"

- reinstall win 8.1
- download the latest version wsus
- start wsus
- select what you want
- press start
- nothing happen no error nothing
- 2de time you start same wsus
- says there's a update
- press yes
- nothing happen no error nothing


this is tested with uac on and uac off

Did you download the updates before?

on xp no problem
on windows 7 no problem
on windows server 2003 no problem

on windows 8.1 big problem this is the first time i tried on 8.1 because i have a new pc with win 8.1.
Standard clean install from wsus and win 8.1
in the past i had never be a problem until now i think it have to do with security in win 8.1.
can you do something about that ? Is there everywhere a #RequireAdmin ? or is that not the case for my problem

i add #RequireAdmin and compiled it again but no solution with that

missing file rootsupd.exe

is already one thing i found ?

for now this is closed to many problems with pc and it's more then wsus alone.

Is there a folder named "w63" or "w63-x64" inside .\client?

Please post the content of C:\Windows\wsusofflineupdate.log in [code]-tags.
