Yes, it did. WSUSOffline does not install all available updates. Its use is to secure the system so you can go online safely. The catalog (WSUSSCN2.CAB) it uses to determine missing updates is the same a real WSUS server does. That catalog from MS lists all security-critical updates, non-security related and optional updates aren't included. MS doesn't distribute a catalog with all updates inside.

If you expect a complete package, WSUSOU isn't for you, sorry.

Ok!

I though it was the Job!
But of course only Security Update can be Ok for me!

Maybe!
But why 15 considered Important by Microsoft are not updated on my system ?

Important is not the same as security-critical. Many important updates are not listed in Microsoft's catalog. As to the why, you'd have to ask them.

Definition Update for Windows Defender (KB2267602) is not a security-critical update ? : http://i.imgur.com/cE98Kcy.jpg

And Why some are "Blacklisted" ? like (Revoked Root Certificates) or (Malicious Software Removal Tool) : http://i.imgur.com/98jvSQL.jpg

Defender and MSSE are included in WOU (if selected) but due to the update frequency at M$ they are easily outdated.
Both certificate updates and revokes are handled by proper installers, the blacklisted update is outdated. Other blacklisted updates like IE are handled with separate and selectable installers, blacklist just blocks automatic installation as not everyone wants (or is permitted) to use the latest Internet Exploder version.
MSRT is not included by design (due to frequent software and download location changes I asume).

Hi,

I'm not sure to understood ur last answer, but if i resume about all the blacklisted points i got ... all is normal ?

From the FAQs:
Code: Select all
Q: Can I download/install additional patches?
A: Yes, you can adjust how the download and update scripts behave by excluding or adding patches from download or installation. For adding updates proceed as follows:

1. Adding updates to download routines

For adding an update to be downloaded, insert its download URL into the matching "StaticDownloadLinks-<platform>[-architecture>]-<language>.txt file, found in the "...\static\custom" directory. Please don't forget a trailing <CR><LF>.

2. Adding updates to installation routines

Add an update to installation by inserting its knowledge base ID (KBxxxxxx or simply xxxxxx) into the matching "StaticUpdateIds-<platform>[-<architecture>].txt file (directory "...\client\static\custom"). Please don't forget a trailing <CR><LF>.
