Limit Win7 Patches to one language only?

Thanks for this great tool!

Maybe I don't see the wood for the trees but what I haven't figured out yet: can I exclude English versions by default?

After reading the FAQ I am still puzzled: just deleting files after download will just make it download them again next time?

And same thing would happen if I just deleted SP1 - (which I definitely don't need)?

The Windows 7 updates are global, but some static download links are language specific (Internet Explorer, .NET ...).
Do you mean these files?

To exclude Service Pack 1 just uncheck the option "Include Service Packs" in UpdateGenerator. This will delete the SP1 file, if you enabled the cleanup option.

I also would like to download all spanish updates as well as IE11 etc and remove all other languages so to save time downloading ...
what files must be edited and or deleted...?

You need to edit (do not delete them) the following files (.\static\...):
- StaticDownloadLinks-dotnet-x64-glb.txt (remove everything inside)
- StaticDownloadLinks-dotnet-x86-glb.txt (remove everything inside)
- StaticDownloadLinks-dotnet.txt (remove the lines containing "dotNetFx40LP_Full_x86_x64de.exe", "NDP451-KB2858728-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe", "NDP451-KB2858728-x86-x64-AllOS-DEU.exe")
- StaticDownloadLinks-w60-x64-5lg.txt, StaticDownloadLinks-w60-x64-glb.txt, StaticDownloadLinks-w60-x86-5lg.txt and StaticDownloadLinks-w60-x86-glb.txt (remove all lines containing "IE*-WindowsVista-")
- StaticDownloadLinks-w61-x64-glb.txt, StaticDownloadLinks-w61-x86-glb.txt (remove all lines containing "IE*-Windows6.1-")

based on WSUS Offline Update 8.8+ (r540) but is the same for the official 8.8

If you want wsusou to download the English versions of IE, MSSE and the rest, please do not remove the lines containing "en"/"enu".

Thank you, it worked fine - I still want to get rid of silverlight and a few other add-ons.

Personally, I only need German versions (but thought it is more "user friendly" to use English when posting here).

Will I have to go through that routine again when there is a new version (download links might change too)? For now I saved the folder with the "patched" files.

Yes, you have to "clean" all files after each update of wsusou as they will be replaced.
