How to terminate the script

My Windows 7 Enterprise kept on hanging when it was checking for updates.
I used all 13 or 15 tricks Microsoft provided without luck.
Then came across a YouTube that used this tool.

That works. It took ages, but updates were finally installed. But, everytime the laptop reboots, it seems to be installing a few updates then searches for a while and reboots again. And again. The warnings always concern the same updates, no progress seems to be made there, but new updates are installed.

As I couldn't wait any longer (I need to do some work), when the script started again, shortly after rebooting, I terminated it with ^C + Y.
And found out that Windows update seems to work again, as it saw downloaded updates, installed them and rebooted... and therefore the script started again. I'm happy to have it run in the evenings, but I wonder if it is still needed and how do I permanently terminate it? I guess it can be restarted, when needed, using the whole process.

Not sure if because I terminated it, all kinds of temporary files need to be removed manually, if so, where are these?

You did select the auto-recall option, right?

Then do this:
- cancel using Ctrl+C
- LogOff
- LogIn as yourt normal user (wsusou should not start)
- Run .\client\cmd\CleanupRecall.cmd with admin-rights
- Reboot
- delete WOUTempAdmin using the control panel, if it hasn't been deleted automatically

That helps, thnx! I indeed used the auto-recall option.
What do you mean by this last step? Is it a user account (couldn't find it), or an installed program (couldn't find it either)?

Its an user account. Just in case, that it fails to delete itself.

I see. It was deleted, I see an entry in a log that I accidentally came across.
Other good news is that Windows Update keeps on working (but I see some failed updates in that list as well, no idea why, will try to find out what the error codes mean).
