The WSUS Offline Update package and the Linux scripts use different namings.
Example WSUS Offline Update "Community Edition" 12.2 [most recent release] contains version "2.1_patch1" of the Linux scripts, the most recent beta build of WSUS Offline Update "Community Edition" contains version "2.2" of the Linux scripts.
This is caused by the Linux scripts being maintained by a different author (hbuhrmester) and following different rules, when they need to be updated.

Just copying one file from the "Community Edition" doesn't add support for anything. The scripts have to be updated/modified and more changes are requiered.
WSUS Offline Update 12.0 does not support Windows 10 2004.
If you want full support for more recent versions of Windows 10, you'll need to use the "Community Edition".
The most recent version of WSUS Offline Update "Community Edition" can be downloaded 12.2hf1: https://gitlab.com/wsusoffline/wsusoffline/-/releases/12.2_CommunityEdition

Thank you. (I didn't see the second page of messages until just now, so I thought no one had answered my question.) I've now downloaded and run the CE successfully.
