Release date: 2022-11-27
Development branch: master
Supported version: WSUS Offline Update, Community Edition 12.7 (b74r2)
This is a patch for the master development version. Only ten changed files, compared to the current development version at GitLab (12.7 - b74r2) are included in the archive.
New Features
- Support added for:
- Windows 10, version 22H2 (build 19041)
- Windows Server 2022 (build 20348)
- Windows 11, version 21H2 (build 22000)
- Windows 11, version 22H2 (build 22621)
The Windows 11 versions are treated just like Window 10 versions. They are downloaded to the same directory wsusoffline/client/w100-x64/glb. Windows 10 and Windows 11 versions are then sorted into different subdirectories, based on their build numbers.
Internal changes
- Refactored SDD code, according to WSUS Offline Update - Community Edition - version 12.7 (b43)
- Simplified the selection of localized .NET Framework downloads
- Simplified the deletion of two sets of obsolete configuration files (StaticUpdateIds-cpp*.txt and StaticUpdateIds-dotnet5_*.txt)
- The script syntax-check.bash now checks for shellcheck
shellcheck is an external command, which integrates nicely in the editor Geany, and which is also used in the script syntax-check.bash. It is not needed for regular usage; but if you like to edit and extend these scripts, then it is highly recommended.
Documentation
- The file compatibility.txt was updated to indicate the minimum needed bash version.
