Newbie here. I've just used the latest version of wsus offline
on a windows 7 pc. All seemed normal apart from a couple of stalls which both resolved on re-boot. However, when I checked with windows updater immediately afterward it flagged up another 125 updates. Q. to the experienced guys on here, is that normal? will running those 125 'extra' updates overwrite the good work wsus has done? Thanks

First, WSUSOU downloads and installs only security-critical updates. See also here.

Second, the UpdateGenerator only downloads. To install the updates, the UpdateInstaller inside the .\client\ subdirectory is used.
