hallo,

Inzwischen gibt es unter der gleichen KB-Nummer eine neue Version 5.1.31211.0 für Silverlight, die am 12.12. als Ersatz für die fehlerhafte Version 5.1.31010.0 veröffentlicht wurde.

Wird über Windowsupdate noch nicht angeboten, nicht das noch so ein Reinfall wird wie die letzte Version.

A new version of Microsoft Silverlight (5.1.31211.0) is now available to replace version 5.1.31010.0. Users who run version 5.1.31010.0 receive a “6001” error message and experience other issues when they try to play Digital Rights Management (DRM) video. The new version of Silverlight restores support for DRM video content.

To resolve issues that occur when you try to play DRM video, uninstall Silverlight version 5.1.31010.0, and then go to the following Silverlight website to obtain the appropriate version of Silverlight for your system and browser:
Get Microsoft Silverlight
If you do not have version 5.1.31010.0 installed, you will be provided version 5.1.30514. This is the current full version of Silverlight.

If you have version 5.1.31010.0 installed, go to the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base to obtain the replacement version:
