How to find patch URLs

Hello all,

I'm trying to learn how to find the download URLs for patches.

I just completed an offline update and then went online and Windows Update listed an additional 13 high priority updates.

I wanted to add these to the WSUSoffline updater but I do not know how to find the download URLs for these.

BTW:
I've been searching for a solution like WSUSoffline for a long time and just found you today. THANKS for the program!

Search the file in the MS Download Center. It will reveal the URL shortly before download or when starting it.

Thanks for the prompt reply boco.

I guess I'm doing something wrong.

I picked an update at random from the "StaticDownloadLinks-wxp-x86-enu" list:

When I searched MS Download for KB969084 I got this
[http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20609]

:?: I'm confused and obviously not looking in the right place.

On the ''Thank you for downloading'' page, the ''Start download'' link reveals the direct download URL.

Please press the Download-Button and you will be redirected to another Page. There should be a link (for non-WGA Updates) Called "Restart Download" or sonething similar. Right Click it and press "copy link URL"; that's the link you Need to give to wsusou.

Thanks boco!

That worked. A little long-winded way to do it...but absolutely works.

Now I have a new project...finding the URLs and attempting to update the download and install scripts.

I love this program.

You folks are gerat!
