Windows 7 x64 SP1 Missing Updates
Posted: 17.06.2012, 19:27I uses WSUS Offline 7.3.2 to download the Windows 7 x64 updates, which downloadeda about 90 packages. I then used a script to integrate the CABs into my WIM, which went fine. However, after Windows installed from the updated WIM (using DISM), there were about 27 missing updates that Windows Update said I needed. Most of the updates are "recommended" although a few looked security related.
Examples include 2506014, 2484033, 2488113, 2506014, 2541014, 982018, and 2718704.
I was expecting this tool to download all relevant updates, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I looked in the GLB directory and didn't see the related CAB files, so the problem isn't the DISM integration script.
