Silverlight

Any plans to add support for Silverlight? I'm just wondering since updates to Silverlight show up as missing updates. For example, this month it shows up as "KB982926".

Download link for Silverlight 4.0.50524.0:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... rlight.exe

Silent installs can be done with "/q".

No plan to add silverlight. It's not a core component of Windows OS but an optional one (and nasty, always reappears at Windows Update despite been disabled multiple times). Nobody needs it anyway as it's not really much better than Flash.

Guessed my thoughts, Denniss.

@AnonymousHero I've written a "plugin" for the updater with the possibility to download and install own files.
I added Silverlight and german .NET languagepacks as examples - so you can try it.
Download (simply extract it in your wsusoffline-folder).

Could you add Silverlight to updates?

Sorry, but WSUSOU is designed for installing updates for Windows.
It reads the files from wsusscn2.cab. This file contains security updates only.
Silverlight is not relevant for security.
( Look here)
You can add it in your download list (WSUSOU-path\static\custom\StaticDownloadLinks-[OS]-x86/x64.[lang].txt) if you want.

Would be good to have it and the hot fixes too. This would be a good program to replace autopatcher that seems to be a dead program now.

Sorry, but that's not the aim of the WSUS Offline Updater.
