For some reason WSUS Offline is not downloading the following updates\patches: KB4503281 and KB4503289. Is there a way to force WSUS Offline to download those updates or to manually download them and force updateinstaller to install them? Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :?: :?:

I'm not sure but if I remember correctly, updates for unsupported systems aren't downloaded. Windows 1703 and 1709 are out of support, except Enterprise and Education editions. I also don't know if these updates are listed in the catalog provided by MS (wsusscn2.cab).

So, WSUS Offline does not support Enterprise and Education editions? if those 2 are still being supported by MS why aren't those updates being downloaded by WSUS Offline? I just trying to understand the logic here.

Thank you.

Currently I don't know whether or not WSUS Offline supports Enterprise and Education editions, but assuming it doesn't, regardless of whether or not MS still supports them, the updates are not downloaded.

However, I found the reason why these two updates are not downloaded: They are not security updates, just regular updates, published one week after Patch Tuesday. Since WSUS Offline uses an update catalog file provided by MS that only contains security updates, it can only download and install those.

Just as a side note: I just checked and found neither updates in the MS update catalog file.

wsusou supports Enterprise / Education edtions as the are covered by wsusscn2.cab even after the support for Home / Pro was dropped.
This behaviour breaks the Home / Pro support after the first Enterprise- / Education-only update was released as it superseds the last Home / Pro update.
