It was one update installed for C++ cause i installed a lot of software on the notebook since last week.

I will now do a full update routine again cause the notebook is in the domain and will get them via WSUS anyway, but delayed.

Edit:
Beforehand i tried to install the update KB4025252 as you requested.

With "Windows Update" service running it failed with:
"Searching for updates on your computer"

"Windows Update" service stopped gave:
"Security update for Windows (KB4025252) is already installed on your computer"

In one of the CAB-files, is the a CBS.log, which has 2017-08-04 13:45 to 13:50 inside. The one provided here starts at 2017-08-15.

As far as I can see, DISM successfully redirects the operation to CBS and somewhere there is a problem.

Thanks for your thoughts and help!

So there is no change in the script or on the notebook required - than we can close this case.
