I'm trying to use the program on a standard edition Windows 2012 server. Updates are not downloaded and the following remains : Listing ids of missing updates (please be patient, this will take a while).
what can I do?

That's because at this stage you already downloaded the updates with UpdateGenerator and you've started UpdateInstaller now. The Windows Update Client has a very hard time to calculate all the dependencies and stuff.
