downloaded updates for win10 and office2016
I see the files in the appropriate folders
when I run the UpdateInstaller.exe app I only see "Updating" tab. I do not have a Software tab that will allow me to install the downloaded office 2016 updates.

Please help.

Office updates are installed together with Windows Updates. Of course, it depends on what Office you actually have:
1. The normal, non-C2R version of Office 2016 is updated normally through WU. Thus WOU will install the Office updates together with the normal Windows Updates. THe Software tab is not meant for Office.
2. C2R (Click to Run) versions of Office are not supported by WOU at all, as they are not updated through WU.
