Really having issues here, i had a back up image for the OS updated to SP2 with no further updates since Feb 2014 (3 years worth needed) however i have tried the offline installer and although it's downloaded around over 200+ i just cannot get these to install on the operating system, i either got no missing updates found which is a load of rubbish or it just hangs on the list of ids looking for them. I have the setting on the pc to never look for updates for now on windows update.

What do i do here, do i have to add other but of updates first so it finds the rest of the updates or what?

I'm stuck where or what to do.

Did you reboot after setting WU to "never search for updates"?

Manually download and install the newest win32k.sys update - which is recently KB4012497 for Vista. Install KB4012497, reboot and run WOU again.
