Install Updates on Similar Machines

Good day to all,

I have downloaded Windows 7 updates and created ISO files.

How do I install these on other similar Windows 7 machines (all fresh install) using updateinstaller.exe?

Do I just copy-paste the wsus folder? Do I do something with the ISO files?

Many thanks,
Jane Oh

ISOs are images of optical media (CD/DVD/BD). Either you burn them to a physical optical media (use of rewritable media preferred), or you mount them using a virtual drive (Daemon Tools, Alcohol 52%/120%, VirtualCloneDrive, ImDisk etc.).

You don't need to create ISOs at all. Just make the .\client subdirectory available to the other PCs (copy/share).

A third method is checking the "USB medium" checkbox at the bottom and select an empty target directory (usually an external USB drive, but not restricted to that). That directory will then have the same contents like the ISO created and you can update the other PCs with it.
