Hi on doing a fresh install of windows 8 and running wsus it reports that it cant find the following 2 files.

Are these supposed to be downloaded i fully updated with the latest trunk but still these files are not downloaded, any idea if they are needed ?

KB2978041 is a .NET update; did you enable the "Install .NET 4.6" option in UpdateInstaller?
The message should be gone as soon as wsusou installed .NET 4.6.2.

KB890830: normal message; just ignore it. It's impossible to implement MRT as the links change too often. Also there is no real reason for using it.

KB3201860 is the Adobe Flash Player
Could you check, if one of these files exist?

windows8.1-kb3201860-x64_d18552e62240131a4c34f1f5e532d65624004481.cab is located in "wsusoffline\client\w63-x64\glb"

normally i do all the windows updates and then tell it to install .NET ill start to do that first. Ive just started to get this warning so wonder whats happened to change this!!

wsusou does not include all .NET 4.5.x patches for Windows 8.1 anymore (as 4.6.2 is available). So installing 4.6.2 should fix the issue. Please also retry the installation part and check, if it still doesn't find the Flash update. Maybe some kind of temporary issue.

i think it could be related to Microsoft not signing the catalogue file this is causing alot of issues.....

wsusou detected updates. So WUA accepted the catalog meaning it was signed.
