windows script host is disabled on this computer

I keep getting this error on one system when trying to update a client.

I have doubled checked the two registry locations. I have tried deleting the two "Enabled" values, and have also tried setting the DWORD to "1". But I still get the error.

At first the Enabled value under CURRENT_USER was getting reset to zero, so I uninstalled the A/V and that is fixed but still the same error when I try to update the client.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Could you provide some information about the computer?
OS? SP level? Local or domain system? Which medium was used to install the device? Installed security software (AV-program and e.g. XPAntiSpy, W10Privacy, ...)? Anything else, which could be important.
