Installing doubt

Hello, I launched "updateinstaller.exe" something like 6 hours ago and i'm asking myself how much long should i still wait before seeing any change. Problem is that my PC is very noisy and i have to turn it off while sleeping. So i'm wondering if i should install with a smaller "stage size" and if yes, how...?

P.S. I specify that my last update (with windows update) was in december 2014 and that my cpu is a intel core i7 920 2.67Ghz.

Stage size does not fix the issue, as it is still inbstalling the first update. please cancel wsusou, reboot, and manually install that update by double-clicking the file. Reboot again and wsusou should work now.
