Hi,

just a question. I'm trying to update the Windows XP repository using the old 9.0 version.

I have an integrity error on Windows Defender definition files.
Is there a way to correct this ?

MS' servers aren't in sync. There is nothing we can do. Please delete the content of .\client\md and retry.

This problem seems to be happening quite often :/

With the 10.9 version I got again this error on 1 installation.
The first one (which has the problem) is used to update Win Vista, office 2k7 & 2k10
The second one is for Win 7,8,10, office 2k13 & 2k16.

I ran both update at the same time. Only the Vista goes into trouble. I'll try to copy the 'md' content directory from the good one to the bad one.

The problem happens if the downloader has to re-connect and resume mid-download. Very often the second connection goes to a different server with a different file. That will create a Frankenstein file which will fail the signature check.

Copying the "md" directory is not recommended as both WSUSOU instances manage their own checksums for different OS. In fact, the signature files on MS' servers change so frequently that even copying the good signature file together with the one corresponding checksum file does not make much sense.
