Updating issues v10.7 15.07.2016 - Windows 7 64-bit

[Similar problem.]

Win 7 updater not working after many yours of trying and seems won't install WIn10 upgrade with the usual stuck at 99% problem I see many others having. There is a report both for this and for svchost hogging most of the CPU and Memory that is cured in a optional update. I have all the important ones.

Some say the stuck at 99% issue is since not all updates installed. Thus after a day of hair pulling and trying to update I fund this site which seems ideal solution.

However, as the attached jpg file shows (I hope). the installer has none of the Windows updates just C++. NET others. None of the boxes that do show can be checked. I am running off a flash drive 8 gig. When I hit start with nothing checked the cmd window runs saying "Medium netier supports your windows or office version (WIn 10 Prof)

However this isn't the computer with the problem I am trying to do the installs to then take the flash drive to the problem computer if I understand the proper use of it.

I unzipped the zip installer, created a wsusoffline directory (all on the flash) go to client and run UpdateInstaller.exe.

Not sure how attachment will turn out had to downgrade it to the 121KB limit.. think its much lower now...

Looks like you didn't download any updates, yet? You first need to run the UpdateGenerator for downloading and getting the actual patches onto the USB. ATM you just have an empty WSUSOU without any patches.
