I installed Win71 from a customed ISO/CDDVD.
I want to use WSUS ro install MS updates.
The download procedure went fine.
However the install function gets into a loop, continually cycling
over the same updates over and over and over and over.
Can someone help?
Steve

Hello Steve,
did you select auto-reboot? Then wsusou should cancel, if it is running more than six rounds.
Coule you post a screenshot of the updates, wsusou tries to install over and over again? The log file C:\Windows\wsusofflineupdate.log would help, too.

When I try to attach the files I get an error
saying the extension TXT and also LOG is
not allowed.
How do I attach the files?

Hi steve,
do it this way: open the file; copy the content; then use Code-tags like this:
content
Please remember, that new posts need to be approved by mods; so sometimes it takes some time until the post appears.

The WSUS log file and the WINDOWS UPDATE
log file are 106kb and 502kb which are very
large. Is there another way?

Just post the last part seperated by "-------------------------" of wsusofflineupdate.log.
Also: does Windows revert any update on reboot?
