Nope. They aren't security-critical, just shady Telemetry spyware. I'd never install them, anywhere.

Hello. Long time user of wsusoffline. Just had a question about some updates that appear in my WU which aren't grabbed by wsus10. I'm running Windows 7 Pro.

Pastebin link because there's a quite a few: http://pastebin.com/YTqN1aAG

I know that some of them are the telemetry KB's that most people don't want installed, and if I'm correct they aren't installed with wsusoffline10 (mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5108)

Some KB's in that pastebin link are Microsoft Security Essential updates, IE11 updates. I'm wondering why the rest (that aren't telemetry KBs) aren't being downloaded with wsus10. Can someone point me to the right information?

You mean, like

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=172

?

WSUSOU does, apart from a few static things, cover only security-critical updates. Updates bringing new features and optional ones simply aren't included in MS's catalog.

I didn't see that post before. Thanks for linking it. I will need to adjust my strategy.
