A lab colleague mentioned this program to me last week thanks for the excellent program.
If its helpful to anyone I have wrote a guide on using it and incorporated it into to my Windows Installation Guides. Usually I recommend installation of the Service Packs and major OS updates such as IE before installation of the system drivers as it leads to the best performance. However updating offline with WSUS then installing the drivers should lead to even better performance.

My guides are getting to be quite popular so it should also get some more people using this program:

one thing that you should also mention is that although WOU is a excellent program, you should say that when you update a windows OS there will be update still about 10 - 30 updates not downloaded. to fix this you need to add updates to the download routine.

These are constantly updated, includes Windows OS, Office updates are Legacy OS's. these files must be added before you use updategenerator.exe

by using these posts you reduce updates from 10-30 to 3-10. I am also aware that not all updates are included in the lists.
