I'm new to this program and forum. Are the updates installed as they are downloaded automatically or do they need to be installed manually after download? If they do need to be installed manually, where do I find them? Please help and thanks!

The downloaded updates aren't installed automatically. Therefore you have to run .\client\UpdateInstaller.exe.
If sou want to update a computer without internet access, please copy the client folder to an usb key, external hdd or somethin else.
