Well, thanks, I have added the Dutch language support by using
- Code: Select all
.\cmd\AddCustomLanguageSupport nld
I also removed the German language support by using
- Code: Select all
.\cmd\RemoveGermanLanguageSupport.cmd
Downloading of all the updates for Windows 7 x64 went fine, including MSSE, C++ & .NET Frameworks, Windows Defender defs, Service Packs and including updates for Office 2010 English & Dutch and Office 2013 multilangual. But I had nothing but problems while installing. Yesterday and today at work I did two seperate tries, on two different hard drives, with two times downloading all the updates. First with v9.0 and later on with v8.9, both failed (both fresh downloads of wsus offline updater). Not sure what happened since I've been using your software for a few years already and never had this problem.
I selected to also install IE11, dotnetframework 4, MSSE, Silverlight, update root certificates and Direct X, I disabled checking of packages and enabled to automatically reboot. After installing some updates I came back to a rebooted Windows 7 which was still logged in as the temporary admin user. After manually rebooting it logged in again as that user. After checking msconfig I noticed that wsus offline adds a .cmd file to the Windows temp folder, but the .cmd file was not there! This is also visible in the log file: "Error: Script file RecallUpdate.cmd not found". I manually copied that file and run it manually and then I got a notice if I wanted to trust that file to run, so I did that and it continued to run.
When it was done installing/rebooting for a few hours (!) Windows was configuring updates, it got stuck at 14% for a while and then it said that there was a problem while installing updates and it undid every installation of updates!
The try with v8.9 was almost the same, it also stayed at the temporary admin user, but it had the prompt open if I wanted to trust the .cmd file. When I said yes it continued, but also after a long time, the same stuck at 14% configuring updates and it also undid every installation of updates!
I have no idea what is the problem so maybe you can help me with this?
I have added the log file as attachment. The log file both has the v9.0 and v8.9 tries, also in that order.
