Hi
when i have generated updates, is it safe to run Updates Generator again within the same directory setup - in that it will ignore updates it already has and only update newer ones? or do i have to start from scratch?
thanks

It actually is meant to be run on the same setup again, to add new updates, and remove superseded ones. Starting from scratch every time would be a big waste of resources.

ok thanks for that

I did run it and verifying/downloading whizzed through and i seen one saying something along the lines of "not newer than local copy at...." so obviously is best to keep running the same copy
great

I was just worried that it may start making 2nd,3rd,4th copies of everything etc every time I ran the Generator
thanks again

Unchecking products does not delete their updates, it just prevents them from being processed further. However, unchecking components (like Service Packs) will delete the corresponding files, if the "Cleanup" option is activated.
