Manually adding updates - hash issues

Hi all,
I am new and just started using wsusoffline to hook with Dell Kbox during image deployment. I am still at testing phase manually though.
Basically when I run UpdateGenerator it pulls the updates for Win7 but not all. I have then checked the target machine and got a list of the remaining KBs to download. I have then downloaded the msu files and expanded then into cab files. I moved these cab files to ...\w61\glb directory At the same time I have create a txt file StaticUpdateIds-w61-x86.txt on ...\client\static\custom\ listing these KBs
When I try to push the updates, I get and error:
"File hash does not match stored value (file: .....)"
I believe this is because these KB have not been downloaded via Wsusscn2.cab and therefore no hash generated.
However if I edit the UpdateInstaller.ini to: verify=Disabled then the updates get installed. Do I need to be concerned about corruption as this is not hash checked? or if there is a problem with update it would not install anyway.
I would appreciate comments/suggestions.
