Hello,

I have one question.

Wsus offline version 7.3.2
When i prepared iso file in this version and install updates on pc. In the log file i can see that all updates was installed via local user.

Wsus offline version 8.0
When i prepared iso file in this version and install updates on pc. In the log file i can see that updates was installed via WOUAdmin (but on the beginnig i see that lcoal user start the operation).

Is any solution, to using versions 8.0 of the logs was visible only a local user ?? Maybe this version dont support yet this ?

Thanks in advance.

Did you use the ''Automatically reboot and recall'' feature with 8.0, maybe?

Wouupdateadmin just means that you used the automatic reboot Option.

The logfile should be visible to all administrativ Users. C:\Windows\wsusofflineupdate.log

Thank you for advizces.

Now I prepared test with uncheck "Automatically reboot and recall". If this option will be uncheck in the log file is evrything ok.
This option can be check but when application installed for example "framework" in the log file we can find WOUTempAdmin (system restart), but when the apllication installed regular updates for example "defneder definitions" system not restart and in the log file will be local user.

Best regards,

That's correct, WOUTempAdmin will be used only if the system needs to be restarted and WSUSOU must re-run after reboot of the system.
