There is a parameter for skipping Downloading of Service Packs, but in the Installer there isn't.
If you don't want to install Service Packs rename the files

Code: Select all
.\wxp\[lang]\WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-[lang].exe

Code: Select all
.\w60\glb\Windows6.0-KB948465-X86.exe
or
Code: Select all
.\w60\glb\Windows6.0-KB948465-X86-wave0.exe

Hello ukeggagu!

I'm afraid there isn't any switch. WSUS Offline Update is aimed for shifting a fresh Windows installation to the current security patch level. Therefore it installs the latest Service Pack and all security patches since then. This also implies that the Update Generator does not download security patches that are already included in the latest Service Pack. So even without installing the Service Pack WSUS offline update could not install all needed security patches for installations based on an older Service Pack.

If you still wan't to stick with WSUS Offline Update for your test installations, you could try to to use older Versions of WSUS Offline Update that supported the previous Service Packs. But I could imagine that they won't run flawlessly anymore during download. However, it may be worth a try.

Hello engineer,

that´s not the purpose WSUSOU has been made for! (see viewtopic.php?f=7&t=172 )

If you want to do so you can exclude SP´s from download. But, however, all updates that are included in a SP are outdated (supersedded) and will therefore not be downloaded and installed by WSUSOU!

Nothing to thank, greetings,
