Hi,

It looks like that with the latest version (6.8.6) an old known issue from version 6.8.4 is again here. All servicepacks 1 from x64 are identified as patch instead of a SP. See the latest fix in the version 6.8.5. I having troubles downloading/verfying the file Windows6.0-KB936330-X64-wave1in the folder client\w60-x64\glb. The same problem appears already in the verion 6.8.4., but not with 6.8.5!

Cheers

Is this a download problem or a problem during installation ?
Please post a logfile showing this error.

Hi,

in general this is a download problem saying only if I select Windows Vista/Server 2008 and the x64 Global (multilingual updates). If I deselect this checkbox all works as expected without any problems.
The logfile says nothing except this:
------
17.06.2011 14:07:16,64 - Info: Skipped download/validation of Microsoft Security Essentials installation files due to 'same day' rule
17.06.2011 14:07:16,66 - Info: Verified digital file signatures for Microsoft Security Essentials installation files
17.06.2011 14:07:16,66 - Info: Created integrity database for Microsoft Security Essentials installation files
17.06.2011 14:07:18,74 - Info: Verified integrity of Windows Defender definition files
17.06.2011 14:07:19,06 - Info: Skipped download/validation of Windows Defender definition files due to 'same day' rule
17.06.2011 14:07:19,09 - Info: Verified digital file signatures for Windows Defender definition files
17.06.2011 14:07:19,09 - Info: Created integrity database for Windows Defender definition files
17.06.2011 14:07:26,47 - Error: File integrity verification failure
------

I have also deleted the file but doesn't heklp to avoid the error!

Cheers

Please delete the file ...\client\md\hashes-w60-x64-glb.txt and try again!

Hi,

thank you very much, this solves the problem - it looks like the hash-file had an older format or something else!
