Error message: "Info: Option /exitonerror detected"

Hi everybody,
Yesterday I download your software and installed it.
Once I made it worked I cheked the log file and I have this: "Info: Option /exitonerror detected" (on both of my computers)
But it did installed updates and with that my windows update has started to work again (before it was searching without stopping...) and it did found few new updates and I could find all the windows updates installed by WSUS Offline in control panel/update installed; found this pretty curious because I read that could fine there only the update installed by windows update??
I have two other questions:
1/ I have windows7 french. Do I have to install all the update in french or it will work fine like this. If I have to install the update in french could you explain me how to do it because I read on your site:"to include localized French downloads, you need to run: AddCustomLanguageSupport.cmd fra
Do you mean in command line (command prompt).
2/ I installed WSUS Offline on my desktop once I started UpdateGenerator.exe following by Updateinstaller.exe. Do I have to copy all the Client folder to the C:Drive and delete the Client folder from WSUS Offline folder. If yes next time I run WSUS Offline from my desktop everything will go directly to my C:Drive Client folder?

"/exitonerror" is just a switch telling wsusou, that it should cancel the downloading process, if an error occurs. It is no error itself.

How to add Frensh support:
Open a command prompt and enter:

Code: Select all

cd /d "<your wsusou path>\cmd"
.\AddCustomLanguageSupport.cmd fra


Done

Leave your original client-folder untouched. If you delete it, you will break wsusou's functionality. wsusou will always download to its local folder. For updating just copy the client folder to the target system, update it and delete that (copied) client-folder.

When I downloaded WSUS Offline on the computer I wanted to update, I did it on my desktop I ran first UpdateGenerator.exe then I went to the WSUS Offline client folder and ran UpdateInstaller.exe
(I didn't choose the USB Medium option thinking this is for copy to USB device).
Where are going the updates ??
Because by reading you I understand that :once I run UpdateGenerator.exe I have to copy the WSUS Offline client folder to past it on my C:Drive go to this copied folder run UpdateInstaller.exe then t erase this folder.
Could you please be more precise?

If you don't add Frensh support, wsusou will be able to install the normal Windows Updates (the security relevant are all global). But it won't be able to update .NET Framework, the Internet Explorer and all additions like this.

wsusou will copy the content of the client-folder to the target path you entered in UpdateGenerator.

If you decide to download the updates on your target system (the one you want to update), there is no need to copy the client folder. I just wrote that because wsusou is designed to update multiple devices without having to download the updates multiple times. I just wanted to say, that UpdateGenerator will stop working, if you delete its local client-folder.

Yes. wsusou stores the downloaded updates inside its own folder. (the client-subfolder contains them all)
