I am using 10.7.2 and have tried twice and it halts at this point.
Is this my problem or is it a know problem?
This is only my second time using wsus offline and I did not experience it with 10.6.1.

You likely have to wait a day or so until M$ gets their redistribution system fixed so they won't issue damaged and/or improperly signed database files.

I can wait. Compared to putting up with Windows Update that is a small price to pay

I'd recommend you to retry a few times. Often you get a valid file in at least one of 10 attempts.

I dropped back to 10.7.1 and it worked fine first time.
Something is a miss with 10.7.2

No difference between 10.7.1 & 10.7.2 except for .NET 4.6.2 support.
You may update to 10.7.2. It's an issue caused by MS' servers not being in sync.

Thanks for the info. It was a brand new install so I will have 99.999% of the updates.
Love it when M$ can't keep things straight.
