Newbie Question - Update client folder.

This software saved me from 3 days of trying to update a fresh Vista x32 - Thankyou.

My question is about updating the client folder again in a few months. From what I have read I can just run UpdateGenerator again but I'm a little confused about the mentions of clean up target directory as that is in the USB section. I'm not using USB,

Will UpdateGenerator update the client folder with the updates since first run ?

Will it remove superseded updates and install accordingly when used ?

Should I just be creating a fresh client folder the next time I update a Vista x32 machine ?

Thanks.

wsusou will delete superseded updates from its own client-folder automatically (if not disabled in UpdateGenerator.ini), so you may just update the folder. No need to create a new one.

Thanks for the reply.

Another question if I may. Lets say I have a Vista or 7 machine in that hasn't been updated for 6 months. Will wsusou recognize the previous updates / service packs and just install the missing one's ? Or is wsusou more for fresh installs.

Great program - Thanks again.

The target system is scanned for missing (security) updates and only those will be installed.
