I have wsus v10.2 and instead of downloading office 2007 updates it is downloading office 2010 any recommendations to get office 2007 updates using your software.
p.s also tried older version but still no luck as I want sp3 aswell as all other updates and not sp2.

Are you sure to have chosen o2k7 in UpdateGenerator.exe? (please see screenshot)

I have selected office 2007 but it still downloads 2010 updates.

just left it running it has to download office 2010 updates then it will do o2k7 (office 2007) thanks for your reply I don't rightly know why but it is now downloading office 2007 updates it would be nice if you could find out why it wants to download 2010 before o2k7.

For the dynamically determined updates, Microsoft does not make any difference between Office versions in their catalog. That means that WSUSOU has to download them all. The selection for Office 2007 is only for static updates (SPs etc.).

Are you sure, that you selected Office 2007 only, and not both Office 2007 and 2010?

Actually, there is one inconsistency:

• office2010-kb2553065-fullfile-x64-glb.exe is referenced from StaticDownloadLinks-o2k10-x64-glb.txt and downloaded to client/o2k10/glb/
  
• office2010-kb2553065-fullfile-x86-glb.exe is referenced from StaticDownloadLinks-ofc-glb.txt and downloaded to client/ofc/glb/
  Maybe this link should be in StaticDownloadLinks-o2k10-glb.txt instead.

But this is only one file with 4.0 MB. If you think, that you've seen more, you need to be more precise.

If you would like me to upload logfile I will but you need to tell me how.

For some reason (which I don't know), text files can not be appended as attachments.

Typically, you need to paste the text right into the body of message, and then enclose it in code tags.

The download log can grow rather large, and then consist of several sections from different runs of the download script, separated by divider lines. Please post the last one or two sections.

Please also include the settings file UpdateGenerator.ini.
